Primary Beliefs

Primary belief

We believe “…Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

Way of salvation

We believe in the biblical requirement for salvation as found in the book of Acts chapter 2:38.  In this particular verse we find the proper response to the hearing of the gospel.  After Peter finished preaching the message of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ some men in attendance asked the question, “what must we do to be saved”? Then Peter boldly replied “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

We believe that in order for one to be born again it is necessary to repent of your sins, experience water baptism in Jesus name, and the gift of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues.

Godhead

We believe the titles Father, Son, Holy Ghost to be a threefold manifestation of one Spirit in the person of Jesus Christ. Colossians 2:9 instructs us “For in him (Jesus) dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.  This is to say, all the various offices and manifestations within the Godhead exist in Jesus Christ alone and not three distinct personalities.

We believe the operation of redemption for the sins of humanity from the fall of Adam to the cross of Calvary are the result of the spirit of the living God in Jesus Christ. “ And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory”. I Timothy 3:16

Furthermore, we believe the oneness of God in the person of Jesus Christ is fundamental to our understanding of whom we are to pray, seek and worship.

All Glory Be to God,
