Our Vision Statement

Vision is a statement of the aspirations and dreams of the church. Vision gives us something to strive and press towards. The vision is the “mark” or the goals of the church. The church should never have low vision or no vision at all, but rather high and lofty vision, with a constant dependence on Christ to bring to pass what we have set our sights on achieving.

EVANGELISM

“To see lost souls come to the knowledge and acceptance of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.”

This is the Supreme vision of our church. The harvest is plenteous, and it is our goal to minister outside of the confines of the local church building and become able and effective laborers in the field. Our goal is to bring the unsaved of our community, city, and beyond into the complete and total knowledge of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and see their lives changed and regenerated by the saving Power of Jesus Christ. This can only be done through the constant and uncompromisable promotion of the Gospel of Jesus Christ within and outside of this church. (Luke 10:2, John 12:32)

INREACH – DISCIPLESHIP

“To lift up Christ through education, spiritual edification, social empowerment, productive public programs and any other means available.”

Our vision is to involve every member in some area of active ministry. We, at APOSTOLIC HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH BIBLEWAY CHURCH, are concerned with promoting an awareness of the need for interactive Christianity. We must uplift Christ from the pulpit as well as the pew. We are striving to see Institutions of Christian growth, Christian Academies, Economic development within the church, Church-owned businesses and public programs and projects spiral from our church. It is our endeavor to strive for excellence in our ministry as we minister to the totality of mankind. (Luke 14:23, Acts 5:42)

OUTREACH

“To become a citadel of hope and center for service to the lost, hurting and dying humanity without stigmatizing or ostracizing them.”

Our vision is to realize, through service, what Jesus meant when he said, “inasmuch as ye have done it unto the least of these, ye have done it unto me”. (Matt. 25:40). This is achieved through designated ministries of service that focus on feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, sheltering the homeless, visiting the sick and institutionalized, supporting the incarcerated and imprisoned and meeting the many needs of all people.

A TITHING CHURCH

“To be a Church committed to honoring God with the absolute rendering of His Tithe and Offerings.”

We respect that the “Tithe” is Holy and belongs to God. We seek to use the Biblical financial system of supporting God’s church through the consistent rendering of the Tithes of each member. We do not give from constraint, drudgery, or with covetous motives, but rather in response to the Divine command and reverential Fear of God. We, as a church, strive to see every member commit to consistently Tithing one tenth (1/10) of their income to the work of the Lord and moving on to an increased capacity of free-will giving above and beyond the tithe as the Lord shall bless and empower them. (Malachi 3:8-10; Luke 11:42; II Cor. 9:6-7)

AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY & FAMILIES

“To perpetuate, sustain and uphold Christian families and values through a comprehensive family ministry.”

We seek the betterment of the home and community, by promoting the continued spiritual growth of every household member. We understand that family is the foundation of the nation. Therefore, it is our vision to design ministries and ministry groups that will serve as a positive force of Spiritual empowerment to every married and unmarried person, their children, and extended families thereby reclaiming our society back to Biblical values one family at a time. (Psalm 133:1, Malachi 4:6)

GLOBAL MINISTRY

“To serve in the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.”

It is our vision to utilize all methods available to us, to the fullest extent of our ability, to spread the Gospel out of the confines of our church. This can be done through media ministries, missions and mass evangelism, being certain not to bring shame upon the Gospel. (II Timothy 4:2-5)
